SHORT TERM LOAN HOME OR RIDER WANTED

Light weight, capable and kind rider wanted for Ex Racehorse. Midnight Haze was a successful race horse, winning many P2P, chases and was competitively placed in The Grand National. Since retiring in 2016 he has been much loved and enjoyed by his owner and rider of over 10 years. He has been competitively shown and placed at National Level and won many regional and county level shows in ROR ridden/inhand and hunter classes. He enjoys hacking, riding club and jumping. He is good to do in all ways on the ground. Good to load, travel, clip, shoe, groom, catch. Never kicked. He is good to hack out alone or in company, never spooky, but can be keen to get home if hacking on his own. His quirks are; he can get sour of a job if over worked, so he enjoys variety and not ridden everyday. He is strong in company if cantering and needs to be ridden in front when fit. Not suitable to hunt due to being so strong. Can be anxious when traveling so needs a calm and capable person on the ground. Childcare and work has forced this very hard decision. Options include - ride out from my yard 3 days a week paid; ride out and compete / enjoy from my yard as and when suits the person; possible loan to move off yard if to the right person and place. Person and place would be vetted and references needed.
